Whicker can mean a soft winny breath of a horse.
A haunch is a buttock and thigh considered together, in a human or animal.
A sapling is a very small tree.
A quilt is like a small blanket made in sewing.
A picket rope is a long rope with a peg at the end.
Minnows are small fish you found in a river.
The colt was eating grass on it picket lines with a sapling nearby.
